So who is Mrs. Mayweather and why is she blogging?

Seriously though, thank you for caring enough to click the link!

So, in the process of creating this blog, I read a lot of blogs and what I learned is that personality is just as important as blog content. Of course I want you to like my content, learn some new things, implement it into your life, share it with your friends, grow, love, have amazing sex and overall, just become a better version of YOU! But before we do all that, allow me to introduce myself and tell you why I'm setting out on this journey of blogging.

WHO AM I?

  • I am a believer, wife, mother, daughter, family member, friend, marketer for Good Mayweather Consulting (plug), creative, and blogger!

  • I am happiest when I am in the company of positive people.

  • The easiest way to my heart is good food and laughter.

  • I'm passionate about sexual health and educating others.

  • I'm on a mission to empower women to articulate their needs and wants in sex, dating, and relationships AND get the intimacy that they ask for and deserve.

WHAT'S MY BLOGGING STYLE?

Think of me as your new Bestie- you know, the one who sometimes keeps it a little too real. The person that you text in the middle of the night when you've got an embarrassing question and need an answer, NOT a lecture. A friend who will ask the right questions to help you arrive at the right answer on your own. A friend who isn't perfect, and will air out her own dirt if it means you will benefit from it. That friend that grew up reading Cosmopolitan magazine (way before I should've been), loves the self-help section of any book store, and gives really sound advice about sex and relationships- but in a "these are the facts/how-to" kind of way, not a "this is what you have to do" kind of way. This is a judgement-free zone. (Or as close to it as I can get, I'm flawed too!)

WHAT MAKES MEET MRS. MAYWEATHER DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SEX AND RELATIONSHIP BLOGS?

I really try to approach my blog posts from a "how-to"/ informational perspective with an emphasis on communication. In my posts I try to give clear examples and tips that you can tweak and use to get your point across.

I'm not a matchmaker so I can't help you find the perfect man or woman. However, what I can do is push you to explore what YOU really want and figure out a strategic way to go about getting it.

WHAT'S THE END GOAL HERE?

Blogging is just the beginning. When I reflect on when I was happiest "professionally", it was in grad school when I was doing weekly presentations and workshops on sexual health topics. So of course I want to travel and do workshops! I want to create webinars and e-courses! I also plan to write my first e-book in the near future! The end goal is to be able to work anywhere in the world doing what I love!

(Thank you for being here and helping a passionate person like me do what I love!)

ANYTHING ELSE TO ADD?

  • I don't know it all... but I'm resourceful enough to find the answer.

  • You won't always agree with my opinions and viewpoints, but know that it's coming from a sincere place.

  • If you disagree, let's talk about it! We can grow together by sharing opposing viewpoints.

  • You made it to the end! Thank you for reading all this and be sure to check out the rest of the site and subscribe.
